Baby Basics began its story in a car boot in Sheffield. One midwife had a car boot full of items to try and help new mums she was working with, but the demand overwhelmed her, so she asked her church for help.
The Sheffield Baby Basics grew, and Baby Basics is now national, with branches across the UK.
Baby Basics offer a Moses basket, filled with the essentials for a new baby and mum.
If you know someone who might benefit from a basket, please ask them to speak to their midwife or health visitor.
Receiving a basket helps show the value and worth to those who may otherwise feel unloved or isolated.
Baby Basics began in 2014, putting together a team and receiving our first donations.
