Salisbury City Job Club

Salisbury City Job Club

We support job-seekers in Salisbury and south Wiltshire, helping them to feel valued and supporting them in learning the skills to find work.

Job Club meets on a Monday morning, every fortnight. The rough format of a morning is:

10am

Arrive and grab a drink and biscuit.

10.10am

Go round the room, introducing each other and sharing latest updates on job-seeking.

10.25am

A one hour session on developing job-related skills led by the team, with plenty of interaction from job-seekers.

11.30am

Finish – or grab an opportunity for a one-to-one with one of the team (e.g. working on CV’s or interview practice).

We use a range of training material, which includes the Ignition course for job-seekers.

You can find Job Club on Facebook.

I believe the local church is the hope of the world.
