We should not be surprised when we suffer and trust that God will use it for our good.  Our response to suffering should be to be worshipful, commit ourselves to God and continue to do good.

We should live for God with two perspectives in mind: the past (what God has done for us) and the future (what God has promised). Practically, this includes praying and loving others by offering hospitality and serving them using our spiritual gifts.

Living life God's way leads to true peace and happiness and at the same time blesses others.

Christians should submit to government because all authority is established by God. We may not agree and we may have to suffer as a consequence but we should obey without complaint.

An encouragement and reminder that despite all that is happening to Christians in this life, there is a greater hope in that Jesus will come back again. This is good news for all who put their trust in Jesus Christ.

If we really grasp how much God loves us we will be radiant and will live differently. Three things to focus on are discussed: how Jesus is the New Covenant with God as our representative; growth in holiness leads to growth in love for people, being nourished by God's word.

The way we live our lives is a key part of the hope we have for the future. Being obedient and holy in all we do, we look to our Father who is the judge.

Having knowledge of the promises God gives us in the bible and the hope we have in heaven helps us prepare for the trials life brings.
