We have a dedicated office team, comprising full-time and part-time staff, together with a number of volunteers. The Grace Church office is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.
Simon Redmill and Pete McBeth are on the Leadership Team and are both full-time members of staff.
The office team also comprises a number of part-time staff and volunteers:
Sharon is Simon Redmill’s PA. She assists Simon by doing the administrative work for him so that he can focus on leading the church.
In addition to this Sharon does some of the administrative work related to the wider church including: Sunday mornings, planning the calendar, communicating with members about events, booking venues and managing our database of member and guest details.
Sharon oversees the safeguarding checks for our volunteers and employees, particularly in relation to working with children.
Jen’s role is to manage the finances, budgets and resources. Jen also oversees our communications by putting together our fortnightly bulletin and managing our social media pages on Facebook and Twitter.
Heather volunteers in the office one morning a week and gets to do all the fun bits so that the rest of the team can focus on the big stuff (her words, not ours!).
Heather laminates, cuts, folds, makes badges, updates rotas, enters data, puts letters in envelopes and is an all round star.
Heather also volunteers with Pacemakers.
Rosie helps run Little Acorns Toddler Group. Rosie is married to Joe, they have three daughters.
Rosie generally volunteers on Wednesdays in the office.
Robin is our Youth Worker. He serves with our HotHouse youth group for our 11-18 year olds. Robin oversees our teaching, mentoring, pastoring and activity programme for the Sunday morning and evening sessions and our other youth events, such as Newday.
Robin’s key aim is to help our young people grow in their relationship with Jesus, as disciples who make disciples. He leads the team of adult volunteers and keeps the eldership and church up to date with the development and welfare of the church youth.
Robin generally works Fridays in the office and on Sundays.

Grace church runs a number of events to connect with those around us, to raise awareness and serve our community (e.g. our Community Fun Day).
Deborah and the events team aim to put on events of a high standard that we can all enjoy as a church family and that people are happy to bring friends and family along to.
Ruth is our Welcome and Integration Co-ordinator. She volunteers in the church office, usually on a Monday. She oversees the welcoming of anyone who comes along to Grace Church on a Sunday.
