Grace Church has a vision which we can only achieve through God's power and presence. We’re excited to be on God’s mission together and believe that prayer changes things.
We believe that prayer is an essential part of community life, after all you only get one shot at life, and we believe it’s worth investing in those things of eternal value.
CH Spurgeon once said ‘prayer is the slender nerve that moves the muscles of omnipotence’. In other words, through our prayers, God makes the impossible possible.
We take every opportunity to pray together – on Sunday mornings, in our midweek groups and at our monthly prayer and praise evenings. At least three times a year, we have a week of prayer, where we get together early in the morning, or in the evenings, to pray.
During our prayer and praise evenings we expect to encounter God, as we pray for each other, the church and our community.
We have an intercessors group that meets regularly to pray for the church and the lives of our church family.
If you have any specific prayer needs that you’d like the intercessor group to pray for, please speak to Pete McBeth or there is an opportunity for prayer each Sunday in the balcony area following the meeting.
If you’d like to be part of one of our intercessor groups, please speak to Pete McBeth or James Steward.
We trust and believe that God is going to use us to change our city and those around us, which is why we pray for each other, those in authority and those in our local community regularly.

If you have a prayer need, please email Pete McBeth or phone Pete on 01722 333351.
for I am the LORD, who heals you.
