Sundays at Grace Church Salisbury

Sundays at Grace Church in Salisbury

We meet every Sunday, 11:00am at Sarum Academy, Westwood Road, Salisbury, SP2 9HS.

We offer a warm welcome to people of all backgrounds, ages and walks of life.

What can I expect?

We want you to feel at home among us. Our meetings are relaxed and informal, feel free to dress in anything you feel comfortable in.

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a member of our welcome team. As well as making you feel welcome, they can also help point out the location of toilets, kids work or refreshments areas.

You’ll be given a Welcome Pack which contains further information about us and our weekly bulletin with all the latest news and events. This includes a guest card which we invite you to complete, so that we can keep in touch with you about what’s coming up here at Grace Church and how we can best serve you.

The meeting starts with a short introduction, followed by a time of singing worship songs.

About 30 minutes into the meeting the children are released to go to their various groups. We then have 30 - 35 minutes of relevant preaching which looks at what the Bible has to say about living life, followed by a further time spent in worship.

During this time, we usually take up the offering which is for regulars and members of Grace Church. As our guest, we’d ask you to drop in your completed guest card from the Welcome Pack or feel free to simply pass the basket on. We usually finish at around 12:30 PM.

Following our morning meeting, there is an opportunity to enjoy tea, freshly brewed coffee and biscuits together in the Dining Hall. There is plenty of space to sit down and chat, and this is a great time to find out more about us.

For guests, there is a dedicated area as you make your way from the auditorium to the Dining Hall with information you may find of interest. Feel free to pick up a free book, or a leaflet, telling you more about our drinks and puds evenings.

Disabled Access

The Sarum Academy site has full disabled access as well as toilet facilities, including those for the disabled, on both the ground and first floor. Please ask one of the Welcome Team to show you to an area for wheelchairs or those with limited mobility.

Children’s Groups

We expect our children to enjoy their Sunday mornings too. We run a number of children’s groups for ages 0 to 11 years. Each group has relevant, age-appropriate and inspiring Bible-based teaching.

Our HotHouse groups for those age 11-18 meet on two Sunday mornings out of six. They also meet together every Sunday evening during term time.

All our excellent and committed kid’s workers have been DBS checked including references being taken up.

Sarum Academy is signposted from Devizes Road and Wilton Road. Follow the signs into the school site, where you will find plenty of parking available. If you have any questions, the welcome team will only be too happy to assist you. Find us

Shared breakfasts & lunches

Several times a year we enjoy a shared lunch or ‘FEAST’ following the morning meeting. FEAST stands for Friendship, Eating And Sharing Together. The FEAST is a great time to get to know a few more faces and get to know us better.

Check out our events calendar to find out when the next FEAST takes place.

Exploring Christianity?

If you would like to find out more about the Christian faith, then we'd love to invite you to Alpha.

Alpha is an opportunity to discuss the Christian faith in a relaxed setting with other people who are exploring life’s bigger questions.

We also meet in Amesbury

The chief end of man is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever.
