Youth at Grace Church

Youth at Grace Church

We have a vibrant and growing group of young people age 11 to 18.

What is HotHouse?

The HotHouse group is led by our Youth Worker, Robin Imeson, together with a great team of volunteer youth workers. We aim to raise up a generation whose lives honour God.

Our HotHouse youth group meets regularly for friendship, teaching and just enjoying time together. We’re an outward-focused group, that seeks to grow in God and enjoy Him together.

Who’s it for?

Our youth group is open to all young people (ages 11-18) from the Salisbury and Amesbury areas.

What do we offer?

Our youth currently meet weekly in Salisbury, on Sunday evenings (usually 6.30-8.30pm) during term time. Hothouse meet twice every six weeks on Sunday mornings whilst the preach is taking place for our own time of teaching from the Bible, discussion and games.

The format of the evening varies, but will include:

  • free time
  • games
  • activities
  • talks
  • discussion groups

At the end of our time meeting together, we often take time to pray for one another. There is time at the end for a general chat and fun games!

Our vision for our young people

We aim to raise up a generation whose lives honour God.

  • HotHouse is a place where young people are loved, accepted and encouraged to be themselves as they explore their identity in Christ.
  • We equip and disciple our youth to develop their own personal relationship with God that impacts the way they think, act and live.
  • We pray that their lives are transformed by the truth of the Bible and the power of the Holy Spirit to enable them to do all that God has called them to.
  • We are raising up a generation to impact the people around them with the gospel of Jesus.

Newday

Each year, we also invest in our young people, by offering them the opportunity to go camping for a week at Newday - an amazing week of teaching, worship, prayer, socialising, games and so much more!

Newday is attended by thousands of young people across the UK. We also aim to provide a weekend opportunity, where Hothousers can get away from it all, spend time together and encounter God.

We believe in our young people, we value them, and seek to train them for whatever God has in store for them.

Every number has a name. Every name has a story. And every story matters to God.
