Reaching Our Community at Grace Church

Parish Nursing at Grace Church

Parish Nursing seeks to provide whole person health care through a local community. Based on Christ's teaching and ministry, a Parish Nurse provides support for the physical, mental, social and spiritual health of individuals.

Meet your Parish Nurse: Rose

I have worked as a Practice Nurse for over 33 years in various practices including a prison, specialising particularly in the management of long term conditions.

I trained as a Parish Nurse in October 2018.

I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and I have a current Disclosure and Barring Service certificate.

Rose

    My nursing qualifications are:

  • Registered General Nurse - qualified 1985 from Oxford School of Nursing
  • Diplomas in Diabetes, Asthma, COPD and Family Planning.
  • If you would like to contact Rose, please phone: 07387899987 or email: parishnurse@gracechurchuk.org

I am available to offer residents of Bemerton Heath and St Peter’s Place support with your health needs. This may be to talk through your health and wellbeing; it may be to support you in seeking the most appropriate care for your needs:

Our parish nurse... has the freedom to sit, engage and talk and can also act as an advocate for them. Parish nursing is everything we think community-based healthcare should be about.
